Born circa 1988, before the opening of the V&A Waterfront, Panama Jacks evolved from a boatyard servicing the Royal Cape Yacht Club to a quality Seafood Restaurant known all over the world. Situated near the V&A Waterfront Silo District, Panama Jacks is unique in its setting with all the hustle and bustle of a commercial port going about its daily business.

The low-flag-bedecked-ceiling encapsulates the relaxed, Caribbean atmosphere where we believe that emphasis should be on tip-top food quality and service. Our extensive menus cater for guests from near and far and includes a recently added sushi menu. Additionally, our award-winning wine list offers an extensive range of South Africas finest wines. Not sure what’s good? Ask us and we’ll happily spare a suggestion or two.

Take off your jacket, loosen your tie and let us do the rest!

Notes from our Customers

  • As usual, the service was wonderful and prompt. The wine list is still a great selection and I was excited to enjoy a craft beer on tap before my meal as well!

Thanks again for another great evening. See you again soon!

  • Thank you for another fabulous meal! We have been eating at Panama Jacks restaurant for years and have enjoyed every bite. We loved the atmosphere of the old place, but appreciate how Panama Jacks have faithfully recreated a similar vibe
